Representatives from Center for Advanced Legal Studies attended the 31st Annual Career & Education Day on Saturday, February 18, 2017. The event was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center and was sponsored by Houston Hispanic Forum.
“CED is a free day-long family event in which approximately 13,000 students from more than 74 school districts in the Greater Houston area are given an opportunity to dream of rewarding career and education opportunities. At this event students, and their parents, are exposed to career paths that lead to more than 55 career options.” Houston Hispanic Forum Press Release
The event was attended by Eric H. Happe (author) and Leticia Ramirez of Center for Advanced Legal Studies. Information about the paralegal profession was provided and the profession’s educational requirements were discussed. Students asked great questions about the duties of paralegals and were genuinely excited to be at the event and learn more about their career options.
“It was a fantastic event and very rewarding to meet so many students who have an interest in the law.”
