Paralegal Certificate

The Paralegal Certificate program is designed to complement your previously earned associate or bachelor’s degree and provide students with an affordable and accessible path to becoming a paralegal. This 100% online paralegal certificate program is streamlined to provide education in the most employable and demanding areas of the law, while offering the essential paralegal courses of study. Certificates may be earned in 10 months by attending two evenings per week taking paralegal classes online.

The Paralegal Certificate program is 30 semester credit hours, or one full academic year of college.

If you are working towards your first college degree the Associate of Applied Science Degree Paralegal Program is a better path to beginning your paralegal career. The AAS Degree provides a more comprehensive preparation and leads directly into the Bachelor of Arts: Law and Business program for those seeking to earn their bachelor’s degree. 

Paralegal Certificate Program Objectives:

All students must take at least nine semester credits or the equivalent of legal specialty courses through synchronous instruction. The required synchronous instruction can take place through traditional classroom face to face instruction or through remote synchronous instruction that includes in real time faculty-to-student and student-to-student interaction.
