These days everyone seems to have a podcast. We were starting to feel left out!
Our interest in developing a podcast of sorts began several years ago, but due to COVID and its subsequent upheaval to society and normal life and routine, we let the idea simmer for a while. The other day we decided to just go for it and see what would happen and invited several graduates of the Paralegal Certificate program to join me and Tami Riggs, CALS Director of Outreach and Career Services, for a quick conversation.
We were curious to ask them how they decided to pursue a career in law as a paralegal, what lead them to select Center for Advanced Legal Studies for their paralegal education and training, what it was like to attend paralegal classes online, and what ways they have met with success working as paralegals since graduation. We’d like to thank CALS alumni Michael Pitzer and Susan Hamlin for their time and participation and wish them continued success in their paralegal careers.
