The Paralegal Certificate is designed to provide students with an affordable and accessible path to becoming a paralegal. This program is streamlined to provide education in the most employable and demanding areas of the law, while still offering the essential paralegal courses of study. Certificates may be earned in only 10 months by attending morning classes, Saturday classes, or in the evening taking paralegal classes online.

The Paralegal Certificate program is 30 semester credit hours, or one full academic year of college.

Already have a college degree? This program is perfect for you. The paralegal certificate complements your degree and experience with essential paralegal skills needed to work with confidence in some of the most employable and interesting areas of law.

If you are working towards your first college degree the Associate of Applied Science Degree Paralegal Program could be a better path to beginning your paralegal career. The AAS Degree provides a more comprehensive preparation for a paralegal career and leads directly into the Bachelor of Arts: Law and Business program for those seeking to earn their bachelor's degree.

Students without a previous college degree are strongly encouraged to enroll instead in the A.A.S. Degree program. The AAS Degree meets the minimum educational requirements recommended by paralegal authorities and required by many employers.
