Paralegal Certificate Program

Applicants with a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university receive automatic acceptance into the Paralegal Certificate Program.

Applicants with an associate’s degree that is transferable into an accredited 4 year college may test into the program by scoring 20 or higher on the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam.

Applicants who have a high school diploma or recognized equivalent may test into the program by scoring a 20 or higher on the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam.

A personal consultation with an admission representative is required of all applicants.
Associate of Applied Science Degree Paralegal Program

Minimum of high school diploma or recognized equivalent.

Passing score of 20 on the Wonderlic Personnel Test.

Graduates of the Paralegal Certificate Program receive automatic acceptance into the Associate of Applied Science Degree Paralegal Program.
Distance Education Programs
Residents of all 50 states are eligible for enrollment into programs offered via distance education at CALS.
Center for Advanced Legal Studies has been approved by Texas to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education. Accordingly, students residing in the 49 participating states (CA residents see below) may enroll in programs offered by CALS.
Center for Advanced Legal Studies is registered with the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education and therefore authorized to admit students from California.
Note: A high school diploma or GED must be approved by the state from which it was issued. If, for any reason, the high school diploma or GED is suspected to be invalid, the applicant will not be accepted until he/she can provide an acceptable document of proof that the high school diploma or GED is valid.
