The Associate of Applied Science Degree Paralegal Program (AAS Degree) provides comprehensive preparation for a paralegal career. It provides a practical and intense study of a variety of areas of law and completes this experience through a well-rounded offering of general education classes. The AAS Degree can also lead directly to the Bachelor of Arts: Law and Business program for those interested in pursuing a related bachelor’s degree.

Students who have completed the Paralegal Certificate Program are automatically accepted into the A.A.S. Degree program along with their completed coursework and credits. Other students must hold a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent and pass an entrance exam in order to be accepted into this program.

Students may complete their degree in as little as 20 months by attending two evenings per week in the 100% online program. The paralegal degree consists of a total of 60 semester credit hours.
