What are the minimum computer/laptop requirements for students?

All students entering the Center for Advanced Legal Studies morning program are required to have their own laptop. Students taking classes online may opt for a laptop or desktop computer. Both laptops and desktops should meet or exceed certain minimum requirements as listed below.

Since many law related software products are available only for the Windows platform, students at Center for Advanced Legal Studies must have access to a Windows based computer. ProDoc is an example of such software.

Center for Advanced Legal Studies does not recommend these options as a solution to running Windows based software such as ProDoc. The Center's official recommendation is that all students own or have access to a Windows based computer or laptop as described in What are the minimum laptop/computer requirements for students?
