How do I know if the paralegal profession is right for me?

Like law school, paralegal students come from all walks of life. The profession is unique in that there are no prerequisites required to excel.  Teachers, students, sales representatives, business owners, secretaries, homemakers, wait staff, accountants, nurses and even lawyers and doctors have taken our program.
 
Paralegal students should, however, have an interest in the law, have good communication skills, be dependable, curious, decisive, and willing to dedicate themselves to the task at hand. Maturity is a definite plus.
 
To assure the paralegal profession is academically suited for each student entering our program, we administer the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam as a part of our admission process. Positive results on this exam help assure that all students maintain an acceptable pace as they progress through our program and enter the legal profession. 
 
The Wonderlic exam is administered at no charge and may be scheduled along with your initial admission interview.  Interviews and testing may be scheduled "live online" or at the Center.
